We booked through Klook. We wanted to try it after reading the positive reviews on Klook. We went for the afternoon tea session because the lunch time session was already fully booked. Seats are already preassigned. Therefore, no need to rush to the bus to grab a seat. What comes out in the afternoon tea session is exactly what is mentioned in the ‘Main Tower’ section of the Klook voucher. In addition, there is a welcome drink. Other than the choice of hot tea (early grey tea, black silk tea, Thai tea, blue fly tea) they provide you iced water and orange juice. I enjoyed the afternoon tea snacks mentioned on the main tower. The Blue Fly Tea I ordered was good too and was blue in color. There are two dumplings on the main tower of the afternoon tea and our guide mentions that its from a Michelin rated restaurant. You can ask to take away the afternoon tea snacks if you cannot finish it. They will put it inside a plastic box for you to take away. 

The price for the Thai Bus Food Tour was higher than the Bangkok Sky Buffet Dinner at Baiyoke Sky Hotel on the 78th Floor, which also included access to the observation deck. I think its because there are not many seats on the bus. They only have one bus operating the whole day. Seats are quite large and comfortable. What amazed me was that even when we were going downhill the food didn’t fall out. The guide really worked hard to explain the different sections we were passing through. The server also worked really hard. For my daughter’s middle school graduation they turned on the congratulations song by Cliff Richard.

What was disappointing was that the routes that we went to were mostly China Town and Palace areas, which means it didn’t venture out to different parts of Bangkok. As the bus moves it’s inevitable that the plates shake and make sounds, which wasn’t pleasant. Because we have a time constraint the server was busy taking away the iced water and orange juice even if we haven’t finished it. The location is quite far away from the train station.

Comfortable and Relaxing Ride, Good Afternoon Tea Snacks and Quality Service.

I did the lunch tour which is perfect for people who’ve already visited the main attractions and want a different, upmarket food-focused experience. Every dish was excellent - even the ones from non-Michelin-recommended spots. It’s way more convenient and economical than visiting each restaurant individually, and probably a more peaceful and relaxed dining experience, too. The spacious and comfortable bus made the journey relaxing, and the attentive staff and informative guide added to the experience. It exceeded my expectations.

Even better than expected

This trip was truly unforgettable. Our tour guide was incredibly friendly, giving us insightful information about each scenic spot and its history along the way, which helped us appreciate the places we visited on a deeper level. Even though the temperature outside was around 100°F, we were comfortable on the air-conditioned bus, enjoying beautiful views along the route.

One of the highlights was being able to try local delicacies, arranged by the guide. We could enjoy the delicious food right on the bus without having to wait in line at a restaurant, which saved us time and felt really thoughtful. This unique experience made the journey even more enjoyable and relaxing, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the charm of the local culture.

This is a fun way of going around Bangkok - sightseeing and eating at the same time, in the comfort of an air-conditioned bus.  A must-try!

Food was delicious!

My friend and I are in Bangkok and decided to do this tour today.  We both had such a nice time sipping tea, eating snacks and seeing parts of the city.  The coach was comfortable, the air conditioner kept us perfectly cool and the tour guide had a soothing voice and was knowledgeable.  We will likely book the lunch tour before leaving.

What a lovely experience. The food was fabulous. 7 courses more than enough. 

We really enjoyed the Thai Food Bus Tour. It was a really cool experience to sit in a moving restaurant and enjoy the city. Everything was planned very well and there was actually a lot of food! Ticket2Attraction worked fine for me and I would book with them again.  

À l’heure dite, nous sommes chaleureusement accueillis par le personnel à notre montée dans le bus, puis installés confortablement à notre place.
Ensuite les plats se suivent dans une farandole de saveurs et au gré du décor changeant de la visite des beaux monuments de Bangkok.
Conduite douce également.
Une belle parenthèse raffinée dans cette ville grouillante…. Et « graillante »  !?
